And while I've done a RECAP OF EPISODE 3 for "QUEENDOM 2", MNET has just dropped both Full and Individual FANCAMS on their YT channel for LOONA's "Shake It" Stage (along with WJSN and Brave Girls too, cheers), which I am embedding below, while THIS BROADCAST VIDEO is for your full WATCH and LIKES (Which will count as VOTES, to be counted until Monday April 18th at 11;59PM KST, after which the numbers'll be tallied to judge LOONA's position in the competition for both "Round 2" and in the final tallied votes).

Go WATCH THIS VIDEO and CLICK LIKE, thanks!

After watching their performance, there are quite a lot of things to unpack and watch again, as the (edited for main broadcast) camera might be focusing on specific performers, while there are simultaneous happenings at the same time - one prime example being when HyunJin's dowdy dress was "ripped apart" to showcase her stunning blue dress underneath, the other 4 girls in the line-up (namely HaSeul, Kim Lip, Yves and ViVi) had the same "transformation", while Go Won's was followed shortly with Chuu monitoring her wardrobe change LOL

I have by now watched the performance well over what a sane middle-aged man should do (which I have since accepted that "sanity" does not factor in this equation whatsoever, thanks LOL), and am filled with a jumble of thoughts and worries.

Would new viewers be able to identify with LOONA? Without a fixed style to anchor their decisions or preferences, it might prove a hurdle for them to commit. For sure they'll watch this before "deciding", and to click "LIKE"?

Thus far all THREE of their performances specifically for "QUEENDOM 2" (as of this post) has been arguably different from each other. From the boy-band aesthetics of their OPENING SHOW (featuring a B-Side track "Satellite"), to their period dynasty majesty of "PTT" in Round 1, to the current broadway-musical flavoured "Shake It" - all could well look to be performed by "three different groups" of similar sized performers. Of course WE see them differently/similarly LOL

And at the same time, if this was their FIRST TIME watching LOONA perform on stage (and not their discography thru online MVs and a tome-full of unanswered beloved LOONAVERSE-lore), then this might be the LOONA they see and enjoy, and will choose to (re)search much more into later, which no doubt will benefit VOTES/VOTERS for later Rounds/Stages. And in many ways, online coverage - from posts in websites and forums, to social media mentions - will no doubt play a part in forming folks understanding of the team, and perhaps their LOVE for LOONA.

I consider myself "new" to the fandom, having fully experienced the 12:00-era as as my first (official) comeback, and missing out on the SO WHAT-era because I was spending a huge amount of time trying to figure out WHAT LOONA WAS, as much as I'd gone thru their earlier discography and loving them, to need to and want to find out EACH OF THEIR NAMES, for a Kpop group I do not understand the lyrics to ... but that's just me and my own experience :p

And loving them because they are not your generic KPOP "frilly feminine dresses and shorts", and at the same time they are able to empower that aesthetic, and without needing to be total tomboys about it.

I remember reading folks consider them having a "girl crush" concept - which is not untrue, but also it is apart of their repertoire. From the perceived frilly girl-girls of LOONA 1/3, to the sexy girl crush Odd Eye Circle, to the cute uniformed yyxy - they done it all already! Then came the HI HIGH era, BUTTERFLY era, SO WHAT era, Midnight Era, & Why Not? / Era, and the most recent HULA HOOP era, LOONA has run the gamut of "girl group" tropes and aesthetics, haven't they?

Maybe they DON'T have a "anchor" identity. They DON'T have specific designated roles in the Kpop group. And to me THOSE are the reasons I love and adore them, not for a specific sound nor look I am and have gotten "used" to... but of course, that's just me.

But at the exact same instant, for fans and Orbits - who are familiar with LOONA's chameleon-style of performance - watching this stage was both as refreshing and invigorating, seeing them do something totally NEW to their repertoire, and doing a damn good job of it too! Effin Fist-Air-Pump (with a background of an exploding rainbow) is all I can muster in-between my inner-subs and heart brimming with pride for them, thanks!
