In this dedicated blogpost, I'll attempt to take a closer look at LOONA's "PTT" Performance for Round 1 - featuring "fancam" videos, images posted on socials, plus my impressions for this stage LOONA has done, and is doing.

Seen below are select screengrabs (of course there were MUCH MORE MUAHAHAHAHA) off their stage performance!

Featured here instead are FANCAMS from Mnet - for the entire group (above), AND individual fancams - all of whom has not been mentioned to be apart of the voting/counting process (I think?).

@loonatheworld has since seen uploads of the girls' individual images, clad in their striking red-on-black wear, and of course I'll post them here!

AUSPICIOUS Crew Leader JI SOYEON 지소연 has posted on her IG @auspicious_jsoyeon "LOONA THE GANG" (The girls and their ninja warrior dancers) - seen all squished in the corridor is ultimate heartwarming, that everyone is hopefully proud of their work together!

On a personal note, I really appreciated the "Hwarang"-aspect of the performance theme (a term I'd seen used on Twitter :p), where they'd transformed their "Bollywood"-soundscape of their 2021-release to fit traditional (South) Korean aspects that perhaps will endear them to their home country, while paying homage o their traditions and not necessarily focused on their lore created through the years since their solo debuts to grow debut.

WHAT-IS: The Hwarang, which translates to Flowering Knights, were the elite group of noble warriors during the Kingdom of Silla of Ancient Korea. The Hwarang were brave young warriors selected from the royal court who were taught since young to defend their beliefs and to serve the King.. (hwarangdo.lu)

And while I put on my "overthinking hat", based on what they've done for ROUND 1, and what we've ("legitimately") glimpsed for their performance in Round Two, LOONA doesn't seem to be going along with what is expected of them, or even KPOP GG in general (I am sure there are tons and I've already seen enough none-too-positive reactions), although they are "handing in the assignments" dutifully thus far .. and remains to be seem the legendary performances that await us - of that I am sure! I'm not here to sell you anything else otherwise, YOU decide for yourselves, cheers :)

QUEENDOM is the place for the South Korean girl group "이달의 소녀" to show their talent and their skills to folks in their OWN home country, and not need to tell their lore, least it becomes a hurdle for new viewers and fans to digest, much less understand. The LOONAVERSE WILL engulf the fans AFTER they have been "converted", as far as I am concerned MUAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA.

AND also without a doubt GET TO see more of LOONA on national television channel, where their family and friends can be proud of them and their work showcased, beyond online infamy and overseas. We might all dwell in the online world (*ANd BLESS YOU for reading thus far), but do not doubt the power and prestige as well from "television", and the eyeballs this show will bring LOONA, and for all the girls involved too!

@cheesecat1112 shares their analysis ofLOONA's outfits and then move onto the musical & dance components. I am not here to authenticate the (self-proclaimed) classically trained musician, and neither am I in any way, form or position to question otherwise, but it's hella satisfying to see the efforts recognized and the details to attention paid, and as biased as I may be, THE DETAILS SHOW, IMHO.
