"Hello, this is Blockberry Creative.

Firstly, we would like to apologize for causing great concern for fans of LOONA. We also deeply apologize for causing fatigue to members of the public who have been observing this.

As a result, after closely listening to the words of many people, including Orbits, we have decided that comeback activities are meaningless while in a situation where various concerns about the members are unresolved.

As a result, we have decided that LOONA The Origin Album [0], which the 11 members have worked hard to prepare for, and which was originally scheduled to be released on January 3, 2023, will be postponed indefinitely."

It is a partial rejoice of the current situation, but at the same time perhaps a milestone in a long(er) journey for the girls in LOONA.

And with BBC's announcement of the indefinite postponement of LOONA's [0] Comeback, they continued to drag Chuu under the bus, without mentioning her name (Like Heard not mentioning "Depp" in her op-ed, which Depp subsequently successfully sued her for), in an attempt to portray themselves yet again as "victims", waxing lyrical of their failed financial attempts, which instead attempts to gaslight anyone who will believe them. And I doubt they mean to address Orbits who already have lost trust in BBC. In fact, I reckon this announcement is intended to (A) Guilt-trip Orbits, and (B) not directed at Orbits, but to the general public who might not have known about, or even just casually known about the Chuu vs BBC situation.

Not addressing the rumours of 9 members filing lawsuits to suspend/negate/*we don't really know for FACT what it is for, do we) their contracts, nor addressing the request set forth by @unionloona - or perhaps THIS announcement with continued slander of Chuu, IS the "answer".

In a way, they have acknowledged the "power" of Chuu, and at the same time belittled the rest of the members for being able to be influenced by Chuu, as if they did not have minds of their own?

It is like a (paraphrase) of: "You have finished elementary school, right?"

Wanting Chuu to return to LOONA might be a "deadend path" for now, and I personally do not need her to do so. Having the remaining members having a better personal contract terms, is the aim, IMHO.

As for them leaving BBC, who knows at the end of the lawsuit, LOONA does remain OT11 or maybe even OT12, because even amidst the company cosplay, it is still a "business" after all, isn't it? Or at least until their contract ends, payment for what they owe BBC notwithstanding. Or at least until their new girl group or boy group released/revealed gains steam, innit?

Are we certain all of the members are able to continue employment in the current music industry? We've seen folks like VIVIZ continue after GFRIEND, but perhaps that future is for us to imagine and grasp at, but to walk the path itself is decided by the girls themselves, with the support of folks beyond BBC. And while I do not celebrate the impending disbandment of LOONA, I know I have their past albums and presence online to go back to.

If BBC continues to reap the residuals of their online presence, so be it. And we have seen them doing so, without thus far removing Chuu's presence (not that I have checked :p) from their socials... and just cross our fingers "vindictiveness" do not prevail and we have everything eradicated...! Or at least til the verdict of the 9 members' lawsuit.

The above+below featured montage shows snapshots of the girls released thus far on their socials, before the "indefinite comeback postponement" announcement. If the images disappear from this post, it means that BBC has claimed copyright of, and insisted the images be removed.

To the general public or even "fans" who do not give a hoot about the girls' current predicament, and Chuu's ousting, these images would be served as "what could have been", and no doubt Chuu-antis are crawling to of the disease-festered woodwork to "blame her" for the "lack of comeback", to which BBC had attempted to do, and succeeded with these folks.

UPDATED DEC 26,2022: All girls' teaser images has been revealed, irregardless of the "comeback postponment", with HaSeul, Yves (why they styled her with bangs like Chuu's?), viVi and finally Kim Lip.

Not forgetting everything good that has gone on before all this malicious nastiness - the music, the lore, the magic of LOONA, I admit, that had me personally standing them and chasing down their discography and online personality! So, Thank You, BlockBerry Creative, for the good music and music video memories. I am not being the "ungrateful one" here. "Reflect" and you might have been forgiven, but now you have chosen a path despised by Orbits, as you continue to forge ahead with a brand new fandom who does not give 2shits about this current situation.

IDEAL TERMS:
- Better contract payment terms.
- Ability to perform together under the name "LOONA" during comebacks and related activities, but able to proceed with their own solo activities.

...But you know what, rather than dictate what we want, or even with for our collective hopes to be fulfilled, I think the best we can do now is continue with the boycott (which means no further buying of LOONA merch from BBC until the results of the lawsuits are made known), minimise engagement with BBC on socials with no RTs or shares (I'm not going to tell you "unfollow" them) ... understanding a faction of the fandom might not appreciate being "told what to do", thus infringing on their freedom of choice (justified).

The cost of prepping for the comeback will no doubt add to the girls' debt, but in the first place they would not be earning anything towards gainfully being paid for their efforts, and dedication, are they?

Sure there might be much more to the issue that is not put up for discussion in public, but as BBC continually attempts to sway public perception, I myself have decided to go forward with my narrative of the situation, which aligns with way more folks out there than BBC would acknowledge, or ever will. And even if they do? What will happen next? And even if that happens, it is the "End Game" to justify their existence, and not repentance of what they have done.

BBC will not end. They will continue to prosper, and they will continue to smirk and move forth. We are giving them way too much credit for their supposed "incompetence", because they know exactly what they have been, and are doing still. It is not about "placating the fandom", it is about damage control and forging a future for the company, existing "fandom" be damned.
