Announced today on www.mod-haus.com;
"Hello, this is Modhaus. On March 17, 2023, we signed an exclusive contract with former LOONA members Jeon HeeJin, Kim JungEun, Jung JinSol, and Choi YeRim. Modhaus wishes them all the best of luck on their new beginnings, and we promise to give them our full support so that they can create more cherished memories with their fans. We ask for your continued support and love for Jeon HeeJin, Kim JungEun, Jung JinSol, Choi YeRim. and Modhaus. Thank you."
Noting the key words "former LOOMA Members", and that their real names were mentioned, not their stage names, for Jeon HeeJin ("HeeJin"), Kim JungEun ("Kim Lip"), Jung JinSol ("JinSoul"), and Choi YeRim ("Cheorry").
A little bit more about MODHAUS, who fans of TripleS and Acid Angels of Asia would recognise to be their agency. As well the CEO of Modhaus is Jaden Jeong, the former Creative Director at BBC for LOONA, and a "familiar" name to LOONA-fans, with the "villain of LOONA" narrative associated with him for a few years, by a large portion of www-vocal Orbits.
Given the circumstance since their lawsuit against their former agency was successful, after their Tokyo, Japan concert, that this four ladies would sign with "someone they hated" (a notion perpetrated by fans), seems a "plot twist" beyond fans' comprehension. But then again, we might never know the true story, until it is beng told to us outright, like how folks accepted the villain narrative, while praising BBC, who turned out to be the biggest villain of all behind the scenes.
ABOUT MODHAUS: "Modhaus develops an NFT and blockchain-based content platform to create a K-pop artist made and operated by its fans, who participate in the entire process of artist production, from trainee selection to concept planning. It was founded in 2021 and is based in Seoul, South Korea."
But is everything "in the clear" now? A news report (above) has surfaced which throws doubt yet again, but who is to say what is "legitamite news", and what is "manufactured media-play"?
Moving forward, will LOONA be disbanded? More likely they will not, as 5 members' lawsuit were unsuccessful (HaSeul, YeoJin, Yves, GoWon and Olivia Hye), and two more are pending results/court-rulings (HyunJin & ViVi), and there is zero doubt their agency will shamelessly milk the situation dry. Who is to say they will not form a brand new "sub-unit" with the remaining members? Some might say this is "groundless speculation", but...
