Concept Images for LOONA's "FL!P THAT" Comeback

Here's a quick recap for what has been released thus far for "Concept Photos" for South Korean girl group 이달의 소녀 LOONA's comeback "FL!P that", scheduled for 2022.06.20 6PM [KST]!



The first teaser image to be unveiled (on June 3rd at 11:05PM SGT) featured all 12 girl's backs, facing a hanging purple flowers, amidst a "train departure" lobby. This looks to be a series of stylings different than the subsequent individual Concept Images revealed!




The first wave of "pwincess-pwincess" as coined by JinSoul) individual "Concept Image(s)" were revealed on June 5th (between 9PM to 11PM SGT) included the first 6 girls, in order of debut - which featured HeeJin, HyunJin, HaSeul, YeoJin, ViVi (completing subunit "LOONA 1/3") and Kim Lip.




The "second wave" of images were released the next day on June 6th (between 8PM to 10PM SGT), included the rest of the 12 members of LOONA, including JinSoul and Choerry (thus completely subunit "Odd Eye Circle"), followed by Yves, Chuu, Go Won and Olivia Hye (thus completing subunit "yyxy"). A full front image of all 12 girls (see below) were released online the same night (at 11PM SGT).



Featured above are screengrabs of BlockBerry Creative's Instagram stream - which was different that their other socials as it conformed to a GRID-format, along with reposting of the individual posters, along with URL-links to finding out more about the girls themselves, on TUNESTALKSG, cheers.

From the teaser images of the BACKS of the girls, to this current dressy style, it seems that there might be TWO styling images, which might lead to the FOUR different styles, as seen in their previous releases for "[12:00]" and "[&]" ...! We'll know as the days countdown to D-Day "June 20th".

With the timelines of timed image releases, it was evident they were geared towards "international fans/timezones" to no doubt maximise attention outside of South Korea, having had just completed Queendom 2.

What's next for "FL!P that" promotions - pending possible further "Concept Images", of course - BBC and LOONA has not had "Schedule of Releases" with fixed dates and what to expect (in line with loads of other KPOP artists), but with attention fixed on their socials, it would be a matter of moments before socials are flooded, and with this being my 3rd comeback, I am quite frankly less stressed with minimal FOMO (except for when PREORDER launch for the mini album @.@"), and with their popularity (or infamy) with their appearance in "Queendom 2", I do anticipate a enhanced interest in their music, and that frankly both makes me HAPPY FOR LOONA, and worries that I'd miss out (I missed on HULA HOOP, so the scars remain tender, I will not lie...).

Should we next expect another moving visual teaser? Ala "The Journey"? Or A Highlight Medley video release, in anticipation of album PREORDER, before video teasers leading to actual MV drops? #MUCHEXCITES
