Ending this week with GOOD news and a not-so-good-at-all news concerning LOONA, which I will start with the BAD (because the bitter comes before the sweet), with @loonaJPofficial soliciting "LOONA 1st Live "LOONATHEWORLD in TOKYO"" with the lottery period from "[Play guide advance lottery reception] February 7, 2023 (Tuesday) 15:00 - February 12 (Sunday) 23:59", and as well an announcement for a "rescheduled "LUMINOUS" Release Commemorative In-Person Event" = all of which are comfounding, as we all (should) know by now, 4 of the members have had successful lawsuits against BBC enacted, two have just filed their lawsuits, while alas 5 remaining member's lawsuits had been reported unsuccessful thus far ... so even if LOONA is "forced" to comply before the final judgement is handed out by the courts, technically only 5 to 7 members (out of the 11) might attend, all excluding Chuu who had been "expelled" from LOONA, and not contractually bound at all, I reckon. Quite literally dumbfounding how the hustle continues, while all these are currently in motion. It's like a "lottery", where if you are "lucky" (*and not care at all about their situation and well-being), you might see "some" of the girls ... but you might also loose out if all goes to the sh*tter and the event cancelled and you'll get no refund ~ LOL

I do not need to be a "conspiracy theorist" to speculate that BBC is currently utilising the @loonaJPofficial to hustle Orbits, even with the report of UMJ's attempt to take over LOONA's promotions in Japan in suspect, as it could all be a ruse to enact said hustle, innit? But of course all are my own speculations, and might be all groundless, until the fat lady sings ... or at least the boys at the new BBC-boy-group audition(s) score their places...! :p ... Won't be surprised if they'll be named "LOONA" (maybe not as the boycott might linger), or a very close variation of ~ LOL

On the other spectrum where sunshine bathes the www, @unionloona has announced the closing of the submission of Petition, with 3.7K petitioners reported to have participated.

Said petitions will be submitted to lawyers of the remaining 5 members who had been unsuccessful in their lawsuits thus far against BBC (namely, HaSeul, YeoJin, Yves, GoWon and Olivia Hye). The "unsuccessful" ruling is not the final judgement, as we await for the final confirmation from South Korean courts.

Also announced by @unionloona is that a fund-raising exercise had raised KRW 3,300,000 (*excluding the cost of producing the message book) had been delivered to "Good Neighbors" under the name of the girls of LOONA (not BBC), with the online program hosted by Yves.

As well message books dedicated to the girls themselves, expressing Orbit's support for them, "had been delivered".

Understand that the boycott against BBC continues, with zero financial support for the agency's projects - related to LOONA (or otherwise), and as well a media blackout with unfollowing their socials.

The fear is folks might take this like "voting" for LOONA on shows (such as Queendom2), with everything a short-term action needed, when in reality this might well be a long-drawn-out battle against their agency, with "disbandment" being the ultimate goal (which I doubt will happen, as perhaps the name "LOONA"will be kept for later use, as all the girls are "expelled" - who knows it'll be used for the BOYS group to be assembled)... Hey, if HYBE could have controlling stock of SM, anything could happen in the Kpop industry at this point moving forward, innit?
