"Don't Go" by SUN AND MOON (for #Queendom2)





Witnessed in Episode 6 of QUEENDOM 2, is this performance stage by "Sun and Moon" Unit for "Part 1" of "Round 3" competition.

This VOCAL UNIT is comprised of HaSeul, Kim Lim, Chuu and JinSoul from LOONA, with Youngeun & Chaehyun of Kep1er (This unit was formed in episode 5). They performed EXO's "Don't Go" (previewed here previously :p).

This cycle will be tracked, based on your STREAM and LIKES for the following video clip.



OPINION: This is my favourite out of the 3 stages (for the Vocal Units), not just because I am here for LOONA, but also this was a stage I was comfortable with, which I felt was sincere in "entertaining" me - and they did, tremendously so - and not needing to strain to get my attention ... but that's how I enjoy my performances, anyways.

"Sun and Moon" brought their own colors and tone, their harmony and emotional tears of joy was infectious ... they brought me up and flew alongsisde them on whispered butterfly-wings... and my heart was smiling at the end, overwhelmed by the beautiful harmonies, my eardrums not needed to be "awed", IMHO. This performance was awesome enough. Thank You, Sun and Moon.

Plus, seeing members of LOONA in their frilly feminie dresses, is something we do not see often for their stages too, especially so for Queendom 2 thus far, so this was a fab decision, IMHO, and beng able to show the multifacted colors of the girls.

Here's a listen at EXO's "Don't Go (나비소녀)" - from their 2013 album "XOXO" - with English lyrics. I would dearly appreciate it if English lyricc subs could be added to SUN AND MOON's performance thought, which would defintely help in me - and possibly other International / Non-Korean speaking folks and fans - appreciate the song, and emtoions from the singers, especially Youngeun's tear...! And yes, we see her before her tear, and later wiping her tear away, subtly off camera. I really want to know what she felt then...!

Having delved into (or "attempted to", anyways :p) the "meaning" behind the original lyrics, it seemed as if this song was dedicated to a "unnamed girl", and I am intrigued to find out if there had been any lyrics altered (for this stage), not that it mattered ... or in my corner of my mind, their "fans/fandom" (for both LOONA and Kep1er) is the focus instead of the "girl" (in the OG lyrics)?
