Vol.24 - 4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG
"4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG" is a new ongoing serial feature where I showcased/share 4 tracks / MVs from 4 Random Albums I have in my eclectic collection ... some might get their own Full Album Listens, most might not, cheers.
"Some Other Sucker's Parade" by the Scottish band Del Amitri was released in 1997. Their jingle-jangle rock was synonymous with the era when I frequented Hard Rock Cafe in a deluded attempt to let loose my newly earned monthly salary LOL ... This is "Not Where It's At".

The 1994 film by Ang Lee itself is phenomenal. The soundtrack to "Eat Drink Man Woman" (飲食男女) by Mader follow a similar sonic-scape as his OST for "The Wedding Banquet", heard in the opening cooking scene = a delightful "conversation", if not a "narration" in music, describing the character and scene, IMHO. Masterful.

Released in 2003 through Avex Trax, "Style" is Japanese recording artist Namie Amuro's 6th studio album. Apparently this album "arked her transition into R&B and hip hop genres" ... Namie is the queen. Seen above is the MV for "Shine More", while below is the audio for "Come", sed as an ending theme for the anime "InuYasha".

"Steppin Out" by music producer, recording artist ,DJ and remixer Paul T was released circa 2002, and is honestly a pretty good mood-dance album, which somehow information for which has been "lost" in time, at least "google"-wise.... At the very least there is THIS track to be had tho...! Honestly its times like this, where I wished I had the ability to do "listening parties" for folks to enjoy, reminisce and discover what might have been "forgotten"...
