ITZY "KILL MY DOUBT" ALBUM DOCUMENTARY #1
Nearly 28 minutes of ITZY in production of their upcoming "KILL MY DOUBT" album (Release: 2023.07.31 MON 6PM (KST) | 5AM (EDT)). The existence of this video caught my attention because of it's "unsavoury" aspect showcased, where Yeji and Lia shed tears in the recording studio, with their producer JYP (AKA "Park Jinyoung") seemingly the cause of such distress. I've not watched thru the entire documentary, so am just parroting the online article (scroll to bottom). With all said and done, I will not unsuspect this to be "noise marketing" IMHO.
As "glamorous" as it all may seem, what we see (and hear) as the general public, is the result of a multitude of effort and levels required to showcase the result.
The dynamics required to navigate it, to ensure a smooth(er) delivery, is harder than anyone might expect. It no longer is about the result, but the people skills needed to produce said-results, at least in this current generation, innit?
