Vol.29 - 4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG

"4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG" is a new ongoing serial feature(I started in 2025) where I showcased/share 4 tracks / MVs from 4 Random Albums I have in my eclectic collection ... some might get their own Full Album Listens, most might not, cheers.

This'll be the "last" batch, before I am able to stock up the next series of albums, so enjoy my Soundtrack To Life thus far, cheers :)

Released in 2000, this was American singer Pink's debut single, "There You Go" (the lead single from her debut album, "Can't Take Me Home"), no doubt heard and watched on MTV, and what a blast-from-the-past too! Too generic a experience for me to continue my sonic journey with her, even though I enjoyed her later sounds so much more .... Nevertheless this is very Y2K-aesthetics FTW tho!

I had been a staunch fan of Taiwanese singer Faith Yang (楊乃文) from there earlier albums (Full Album listen for "SILENCE"), and had procured this 2001-album "Should Be (應該)" (her third studio album) purely on my preference for her style ... this would have to be the last full album I'd purchased of hers tho, as my personal soundscape preferences (at the time) had shifted ... this is "不得不 (Have To)"...

"Daylight" by Japanese singer Sakura was released circa 2000, and was her first solo album to be released in Taiwan. This was a time when I embraced her style of music - likewise singers/performners like Bird, especially with "Heart Of Gold"! SoulJazzfunkbossaR&BFTW
