Vol.19 - 4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG
"4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG" is a new ongoing serial feature where I showcased/share 4 tracks / MVs from 4 Random Albums I have in my eclectic collection ... some might get their own Full Album Listens, most might not, cheers.
"Concrete Love" by singer-songwriter Julia Fordham was released in 2002. I had been a fan (my fav tracks HERE), and was quite surprised I had forgotten about this album (:p)... This is title track "Concrete Love", featuring India.Arie.

Released in 2005, "Colours" by Mocca is the sole music album I own from the Indonesian band\, as much as I had adored their music from even before (even blogged on TOYSREVIL, circa 2008), which I honestly blamed myself for "demanding" on my buddy then to get me access to their albums, instead of getting them myself ... but I am forever grateful for this album ... This is "You", and listening to this as I prep this post, made me miss my friend Marine all over again...
The CD Soundtrack of "The Teenage Textbook Movie" was released circa 1998 in conjunction with the feature film (which was the 2nd feature film I had ever worked on), and have featured (nearly but not really) "full" album listen HERE. What was interesting was this CD was a cross promotion with Burger King then, accessible via their restaurants. This is a good album, with memorable indie tracks, alas some lost in time ... This is "My Special Angel" by Ger.
"New World" by the Japanese pop and rock band Do As Infinity. Released in 2001, this was the band's 2nd studio album. As fascinated with the Jpop-soundscape of "New World", rockable tracks like "Summer Days" charmed an entirely different facet of my preferences :)
