Vol.20 - 4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG

"4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG" is a new ongoing serial feature where I showcased/share 4 tracks / MVs from 4 Random Albums I have in my eclectic collection ... some might get their own Full Album Listens, most might not, cheers.

"Collected" is Massive Attack's compilation album, released in 2006, in what essentially is a "Best Of" collection that includes tracks from their previous four albums and the new single "Live with Me". Being a massive (pun intended, duh) fan, this is a perfect situation for me personally, even as I have all their albums ~ LOL

How do I choose a track without invoking a full album listen (*which should happen somewhen) ... this is "Inertia Creeps".

I am honestly constantly amazed at Japanese rock band Mean Machine and their debut album "CREAM". Formed as a side project in 1999, the band featured notable members including Yuki (ex-Judy & Mary vocalist) and Chara (solo artist), who both played drums for this project. The soundscape is as noisy and as rhythmically excitable, and I cannot stop head-bopping to them. This is lead single "Su-ha" (スーハー).

Huge, HUGE fan of Japanese R&B singer Toshinobu Kubota, whom I used to strive to procure CD albums for, and not easily successful, so this compilation album "The Best of Kubota Toshinobu" is the next best thing. Of course I am going tom evoke "La La La Love Song"...!

Released in 2002, "Sea Change" by Beck was the eighth studio album by the American musician, released in 2002. Listening to the song selection, this might have possibly been my last album purchase for the artist, as I strain myself seeking a familiar song to post here... this is "Guess I'm Doing Fine".
