Each of the girls from NewJeans performed a solo stage for their appearance at Bunnies Camp 2024 @ Tokyo Dome, one of whom was ulnae Hyein, who sang "Plastic Love" (original sung by Mariya Takeuchi).

Featured here are clips of her stages from Day 1 & Day 2 (FYI: Recording was apparently prohibited at the event tho :p), but fear not, as according to tweets on X, both Hanni and Hyein will perform their solo covers on The Music Day, on July 6th!

"Plastic Love" is written and performed by Mariya Takeuchi and arranged by Tatsuro Yamashita. The song was released as her album "Variety"'s third single on March 25, 1985. Known as a "City Pop" song, the track enjoyed "moderate success in Japan" (according to Wiki), but has since revived to be THE city pop song success of today, IMHO. It certainly helped open the horizons of my soundscape!
