More Swing Out Sister... but not much, sadly.

After two Full Album Listens (19877 debut album "IT'S BETTER TO TRAVEL" + 1989's KALEIDOSCOPE WORLD 2nd album), my personal music memories of SWING OUT SISTER continued briefly in my life via select "singles" , and not truly delved into entire albums nor actively seeked their discography (ironically having purchased an album but never actually listened to it whole :p), no doubt with changes in my music preferences.

This blog-post is my way too reconcile with that, and move on, instead of a lingering need to acknowledge them.

Their 3rd studio album "Get in Touch with Yourself" (1992) yielded two singles I had been familiar with; "Am I the Same Girl?" and "Notgonnachange" (both of whom I remembered hearing "live" in person in 2009's "THE BREAKOUT" CONCERT SINGAPORE). As was "La-La (Means I Love You)" from their 4th studio album "The Living Return" (1994).

What struck with me more was "Somewhere in the World" from their 1997 "Shapes and Patterns" (the main reason why I'd wanted to post about in this feature, truth to be told :p), which also included "Now You're Not Here" = and a very apt track to end with, as I'd not remembered nor recognise any tracks nor albums that came after, even as I'd wiki'd for this blog-post, all other albums flew by my memory and recognition, alas. And this is as much "musical closure" as I can get with this blog an yer Soundtrack of My Life, thanks.
