AUG 10.2021 Top Ten Blogposts on TUNESTALKSG (The Past Week)
The day after National Day in Singapore, where we celebrated our nation's 56th Birthday (on August 9th), the TOP TEN BLOGPOSTS on TUNESTALKSG (the Past Week) were surprisingly listed with my dedicated blog-features for our annual NDP ("National Day Parade") songs - which brought a smile to my heart! Alas the past week also saw zero listings for LOONA - for which I'd only just announced and embraced TUNESTALK to be a fan-blog of the South Korean girl group ~ Oh Noes...!

#10 TOP TEN TUNESTALKSG: CLICK TO LISTEN TO NDP Songs of Singapore (2011-2021) showcased music videos for the last decade in Singapore's very young history (we are after all just "56" years old since our Independence), which saw a somewhat dedicated "filmic" focus, IMHO.
Featured above is the He Shuming-directed NDP 2020 Theme Song "Everything I Am", as performed by Nathan Hartono (@nathanhartono).
#9 TOP TEN TUNESTALKSG: CLICK TO LISTEN TO NDP Songs of Singapore (1984-1999), with this being the first of 3 dedicated blog-features showcasing the "National Day Parade" / NDP Songs released annually, to celebrate Singapore's national birthday.
Without a doubt one of the more memorable ones (at least for me), is NDP 1998 Theme Song - "Home", performed by Kit Chan, the original version featured above.
#8 TOP TEN TUNESTALKSG: CLICK TO WATCH+LISTEN TO the South Korean girl group Weeekly(위클리)'s "HOLIDAY PARTY", which includes Stage Performances and Concept Film! I've also added the above "Stage #3 Holiday Party" to the post, cheers.
This is actually my first feature for the Weeekly(위클리) on this blog, and probably will not be my last :)

#5 TOP TEN TUNESTALKSG: MV for "YOU CAN'T SIT WITH US" by South Korean soloist SUNMI (선미), featuring cinematography by DIGIPEDI, which showcased multiple "American"-pop-culture-tropes ranging from high school romance, to retro musicals and action zombies and more!
#4 TOP TEN TUNESTALKSG: 'BEcause' MV Reaction & Making-Of MV from South Korean girl group Dreamcatcher(드림캐쳐)! I've since added the "'BEcause' Jacket Making Film #01" (see above)!
#3 TOP TEN TUNESTALKSG: Full Album Listen to LIVING IN A BOX (1987) & My Toy-Diorama Series from 2006 (see image above) featuring, well, environments and characters interacting within a "cardboard box"...! Seen above is one of the dioramas, while below is the MV for "So The Story Goes"...!
#2 TOP TEN TUNESTALKSG: BP In Everland & Merchandise Pre-order Launched for BLACKPINK 2021 SUMMER DIARY, with the teaser showcasing the South Korean girl group enjoying their time at Everland Amusement Park, to be included in the DVD of said Summer Diary - which also celebrates their 5th ANNIVERSARY [4+1] - coming right after their big screen BLACKPINK THE MOVIE too...!
#1 TOP TEN TUNESTALKSG: National Day Parade/NDP Songs of Singapore (2000-2010). Featured above is "What Do You See?" (NDP 2009 Theme Song) performed by @electricomusic, which is one of the few National Day Parade theme songs that does not mention the word "Singapore" in its lyrics.
