"We Will Get There" by Stefanie Sun (2002):
"One United People" by Stefanie Sun (2003 / Lyrics here):
"Home" by Young Voices (2004 Version):
(Above) And while 1998's "Home", sung by Kit Chan (the first in a series of yearly songs commissioned for Singapore's National Day celebrations), for 2004 it was remixed for 3 child soloists and a girls' choir and reused as that year's National Day song (Lyrics here).
"My Island Home" by Kaira Gong (2006 / Lyrics here):
"There's No Place I'd Rather Be" by Kit Chan (2007):
According to video descriptions, for the "first time in NDP History", there were TWO theme songs for 2007 instead of one. The first theme song was "There's No Place I'd Rather Be" performed by Kit Chan (MV above), while the other song was titled "Will You", was performed by eight local singers of different music genres: Janani Sridhar, Asha Edmund, Emma Yong, Lily Anna Rahmat, Jai Wahab, Shabir Mohammaed, Sebastian Tan and Gani Karim. Both songs were composed by singer-composer Jimmy Ye.
For NDP 2008, technically ONE song was used, but were sung in both ENGLISH (by Hady Mirza / above MV), and in MANDARIN/CHINESE by by Joi Chua. The song was "Shine for Singapore (晴空万里)".
According to Wikipedia, this song is one of the few National Day Parade theme songs that does not mention the word "Singapore" in its lyrics. Electrico is currently making a comeback, so I might delve into their discography soon :)
