"GIANTS" by TRUE DAMAGE (Virtual Hip-Hop Group from "League of Legends")
"K/DA" is not the only virtual music group from RIOT GAMES/LEAGUE OF LEGENDS.
"TRUE DAMAGE" is a virtual hip-hop group that is "formed by K/DA’s rapper Akali" (voiced by SOYEON of (G)I-DLE) in the LoL Universe, with the group also including "Ekko" (Thutmose, Duckwrth), "Senna" (Keke Palmer), and "Qiyana" (Becky G). All the fictional names mentioned are game characters apart of League Of Legends (LoL) line-up.
For their "debut", there was a full (somewhat "traditional") animated music video for the single "GIANTS" (above), versus what we see later in a full-rendered visuals for K/DA, who has since had a EP "All Out" released (in line with their Opening Ceremony in 2020), while True Damage is on the down-low (that I am aware of, anyways).
Besides the music video seen up top, featured below is the stage performance for the track "GIANTS" by the real life performers seen in the 2019 World Championship Finals Opening Ceremony (Presented by Mastercard), and plenty of behind-the-scenes (as if this blogpost is sponsored by Riot Games, but it is not #iwish) lol
Featured above is purely focused on the TRUE DAMAGE performance, while the video below is the entire Opening Ceremony, which features "Awaken by Valerie Broussard", followed by TRUE DAMAGE and ending with "Phoenix" by Cailin Russo and Chrissy Costanza - leading to the unveiling of the trophy. Scroll down for the behind-the-scenes / making-of the Opening.
"10 Months, 10 Minutes" MAKING OF OPENING:
Featured above is a V-LOG in Paris from SOYEON of (G)I-DLE), and in the video below features the "Dance Rehearsal(s)" from KINJAZ (for "GIANTS" by "True Damage").
