"As Time Goes By" by Bryan Ferry

"As Time Goes By is the tenth solo album by the British singer Bryan Ferry. Released in 1999, it consists of popular songs and jazz standards...It was co-produced by Ferry with Rhett Davies, who had worked with Ferry since his days with Roxy Music." stated the Wiki-page, but I hardly considered what the album was, but for wanting to own "I'm in the Mood for Love", having heard it in Wong Kar Wai's "The The Mood For Love" (2000)!

"Funny" that the film's Wiki that this track was "found on the French two-CD soundtrack, not in the film" ... or maybe I'd mistaken this for the track being the "inspiration for the English title"? :p

This was still back in the "good old days" where you could still find CDs, and I remembered not hesitating to grab this, even when I felt it was rather "expensive" (Did I buy it at HMV?)

And in the end, it was a fantastic find, featuring old-timey classics, and a chill-mood we've not experienced ... and I have enjoyed this album ever since. Scroll down for the entire track listing made available on youtube (reposted here, because I use this blog as a personal "jukebox" too, thanks).
