I Wondered About The Economics of Concert Tours

I am thinking out loud finanical and logisitical aspects to consider while planning a "Worldwide Concert Tour", and NO I have not planned one before, and YES I am sure to have missed out something (or someone).

Disclaimer: There is no "finality" to this blogpost, just me sharing thoughts and queries, cheers.

TRANSPORTATION:
Flying from Country to country - inclusive of plane tickets, airport taxes, whatever fees associated.

Travelling from venue to venue - inclusive of vehicle rentals (plus insurance) and petrol. Preferably drivers from the existing locale to be engaged.

Off-concert days travel by staff and members via Grab/Hitch.

TELECOMMUNICATION:
In country SIM cards purchased at airports, more likely to be borne by Company and kept with staff.
At the same time, since members do utilise their FAB accounts overseas, the cost of their SIMs should also be borne by the Company.

FOOD AND LODGING:
Hotel stay for the duration of the country's tour, inclusive of breakfasts.

Any meals eaten within the hotel's premises (example room service).

Any meals taken outside of the hotel's premises, as long as with staff.

Cost of incidental meals via apps are either directly borne by the company, or paid for first by artist, with receipts to be reimbursed upon return to home country.

Cost of meals and snacks at performing venue to be borne by Agency or Concert Promoter.

Do the artistes have "Per Diem"?

WHAT-IS: "Per diems are daily allowances paid to employees to cover costs they incur while on a business trip. Per diems cover business expenses for accommodations, meals, and incidentals. Companies may offer per diems in the form of company credit cards, full or partial expense coverage, or fixed daily rates."

Cost of Artistes.
Cost of Staff - which includes Managers, Hair and Make-up and Stylists.
Technician(s)/Technical managers for their performing equipment, and video animation playback at each concert venue.

Now imagine 11 Artistes with attending Managers and Make-Up and Stylists.

They have no back-up dancers.
They do not have any live band elements.
The production and cost of video playback on big screens are already been borne by the Company.

SECURITY:
I would assume security is provided for by the venue? Or is there another aspect of security that travels WITH the artistes (that are not their "managers")?
