For a very brief moment in my life, I had attempted to relive my glorious synth-drenched music-memories of the 80s, with searching for "updated" indie bands of the "now", and came away with a collection of synth-sounding groups, but then then had morphed into something I was not wholly vibing with, after the association wore off ... The generation is different. The intentions are now different. The spirit is different. If yesteryears' felt like a "gimmick", the present felt like "kitsch". Although I am sure for fans of the current sounds would think visa versa :p ... THEN I cam across THIS music video featuring the voice of Depeche Mode's Dave Gahan...!
