LOOΠΔ "LIVE": LOONAbirth, LOONAVERSE & LOONA TV Episodes
Before I delve into individual LOONA Album Features (as mentioned in my recent INTRODUCING LOONA-blogpost, I'd thought to address LOONA's "Live Concerts" - specifically events dedicated to Orbits (the name of their fandom), and do not include performances on stages for television music show broadcasts, cheers.
LOONA's physical activities in South Korea included individual pre-debut fansigns, and subsequently official fan-events "LOOΠΔ x Study Group" and "LOOΠΔ Cinema Theory: Up & Line" (above teaser for / Uploaded "28 Feb 2018") - held in a cinema, where they show both Music Videos and unreleased, exclusive content.
At their premier events, LOONA also performed their songs/discography, but not necessarily billed as "Concerts" (I wonder if there's a separate license or sumsuch legalities associated with these ...?) :p
As for physical performance stages billed as "Concerts", there had been TWO held in South Korea, Seoul, thus far, and a third as part of KCON 2019 (Introduced as "Rookies" among a massive line-up off Kpop-names, with the event subsequently dubbed "LOOΠΔCON" by fans), before the current COVID-19 global pandemic, where LOONA has since held virtual performances online instead - for their Midnight Festival Concert ([12:00] release) held on October 20th 2020, plus other virtual events as part of the line-up, but not solely their "own".
Today's blog-feature will take a closer look at their dedicated stage concerts and LOONA TV episodes for Orbits ... also understand that there are no "legitimately" uploaded concert footage from @loonatheworld, with near everything you see on YouTube related to said concerts, being filmed and uploaded by fans and audience. The temptation to post them all is real, but I'd not want to point any official fingers their way, so... :p
According to loonatheworld.fandom.com, "LOOΠΔ Premier Greeting: Line & Up" was a series of official fan-events (paid ticketing entry) occurring between the Seoul and Busan showings of "LOOΠΔ Cinema Theory: Up & Line". They took place on June 2 (Sat) 6PM and June 3 (Sun) 6PM (KST) at YES24 Live Hall.
Featured below are LOONA TV episodes for PREMIER GREETING: LINE & UP - Day One and Day Two.
#356-#367 (Day One), which included a snippet of their performance of "favOriTe" (in Ep#366).
All the 12 girls of LOONA performed their sub-unit songs (plus YeoJin's "Kiss Later"), and also debuted their "favOriTe" track at the ends / for the Encore of their Premier Greeting (#358). Remember to turn on the English subtitles though!
It is both heartwarming and heartbreaking to watch these episodes. Feels great and proud of the girls, in their efforts for the show, and performing in front of the audience. You can feel their sincerity, and their emotional investment into their chosen path is strong and heartwarming. "Heartbreaking" because this'll more likely be the "closest" I'll get to "see" LOONA perform on their own stages (Even without COVID I can hardly afford to fly to South Korea), and thank goodness at the very least we get a sliver of clear crisp visuals wwith audio from @loonatheworld!
THAT said - back to your regular scheduled programming: LOONA TV #368 was the beginning of Day 2 for Line&Up, ending in Ep#375 (Before #375.5 started the arc for [+ +] era)
"LOONAbirth" was LOONA’s debut concert. It was held at The Olympic Hall in Seoul, South Korea on August 19, 2018 (Read more on loonatheworld.fandom.com), where around 3,000 fans attended the event. Their [+ +] album was released a day later on August 20th.
Preparations for LOONAbirth were featured on their LOONA TV Episodes, starting #427 (3 Days before LOONAbirth), with the arc ending #446.
CONCERT DAY:
"LOOΠΔ Concert [LOOΠΔVERSE]" was LOONA's second concert. It was held on February 16–17, 2019, also at the Olympic Hall. This concert was also set to introduce LOONA's first comeback release, [x x]. Further info & images via loonatheworld.fandom.com.
The LOONA TV arc (featured below) started from Ep#508 and ends #519, before the next arc begins.

SECOND DAY STARTS:
ANd NO, your eyes did not play "tricks" on you - sub-units sang and performed different sub-units' songs! One has LOONA 1/3 members (HeeJin, HyunJin, HaSeul and ViVi) dressed liked the girls from yyxy and performed their "Love4Eva"! There are FANCAM videos uploaded on youtube for these performances too!
Since the announcement and reveals for their 4th Mini Album [&] - since scheduled for June 28 release (6pm KST) - a "LOOПΔ Premier Greeting – [D&D]" has been announced to happen on June 27th at 4PM(KST), with further details to be announced on the Official Fancafe, so this will be a dedicated Orbit-event
Also announced for a June 28th at 10PM(KST) launch on mymusictaste.com is a virtual concert "LOOΠΔ On Wave [LOOΠΔTHEWORLD : &]", no doubt in celebrating and themed on the new album release. LOONA's "Midnight Festival" was also hosted on mymusictaste.
I would have LOVED to be able to attend their concerts - which I'd have to fly over to Korea for, but perhaps one day when COVID-restrictions are clearer for everyone involved, and physical concerts start happening again, innit?
