One-Hit Wonders of the 80s: #71-#80

Continuing my one-hit-wonders of the 80s blog-feature, featured here is Tracks #71-#80 (*Based on Entertainment Weekly's 2009-list), and there's quite a number of memorable gems here today too! PLUS a Hollywood star sings yet again....! The END of this feature is nigh too... :p

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S - #71: Jack Wagner with "All I Need" (1984) is a another classic Ballard from back in the day...

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S - #72: Swing Out Sister with "Breakout" and there are TONS more tracks I adored beyond this 1986-release too! And I aim to feature them loads on tunestalksg too :)

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S - #73: "19" by Paul Hardcastle (1985) is a Uber-memorable track which addressed the Vietnam War, and plenty of versions on YT restricted to viewing on YouTube itself ... featured below is the "Extended Version" (12" Maxi Single) audio-only.

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S - #74: "What’s On Your Mind (Pure Energy)" by Information Society (1984) from their album "Creatures of Influence" = OMG I nearly had forgotten this track too! What a adrenaline-field flashback LOL

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S - #75: "Key Largo" by Bertie Higgins (1982) is still as beautiful as it is underrated, and a song I'd often failed in karaoke as much as I had attempted thru the years to replicate the awesomeness I's heard ~ LOL

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S - #76: "Supersonic" by J.J. Fad from the album 'Supersonic The Album' (1988). LOVING THIS, and so need a remake for this NOW!

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S - #77: General Public with "Tenderness" (1984) from their album "All the Rage" reminded me so much of the handclaps in The Cure lol

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S - #78: "Fantasy" by Aldo Nova (1982) was indeed quite the forgetful track, alas...

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S - #79: "Black Velvet" by Alannah Myles (1989) came at the tail-end of the 80s, segwaying into the 90s indie rock FTW!

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S - #80: Eddie Murphy with "Party All The Time" (1985) is so CLASSIC HOLLYWOOD 80S = it drips nostalgia! LOL

And I realised this (as I was compiling this list), that I have chosen more than half of today's list as part of my #Soundtracktothe8os too! - Jack Wagner with "All I Need"
- Swing Out Sister with "Breakout"
- "19" by Paul Hardcastle
- "What’s On Your Mind (Pure Energy)" by Information Society
- "Key Largo" by Bertie Higgins
- Eddie Murphy with "Party All The Time"
