Vol.2 - 4 X 4 on TUNESTALKSG
"4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG" is a new ongoing serial feature where I showcased/share 4 tracks / MVs from 4 Random Albums I have in my eclectic collection ... some might get their own Full Album Listens, most might not, cheers.
"Let Me Know" by Towa Tei (with CHARA), from his 2000-album "Last Century Modern" (*which I had a Full Album Listen HERE, along with other Towa Tei full album listens FTW)! His early soundscapes enthralled me, propelling me floating amidst a chilled out electronica and funkedout synth-slaps.
"You on My Mind" by Swing Out Sister, from their 1989-album "Kaleidoscope World" (*which I had a Full Album Listen HERE, along with other SOS full album listens FTW)! Still my ultimate bigbandpop and music to make me smile and groove my fates to ~ LOL
From Electronic's 3rd and final studio album (released in 1999) "Twisted Tenderness" comes "Vivid". And if you don't know by now (I will not judge you), "Electronic" is made up of Bernard Sumner of New Order and Johnny Marr of The Smiths, which gave it a decent ounce of emorock-n-riffs mixed in with techno synth sweats, and I like it!
From Morcheeba's 1998-released 2nd album "Big Calm" comes "Part of the Process", that actually sounds slightly "different" to the rest of the album LOL
At this point of my 90s I swayed more towards downtempo trip hop soul-esque soundscapes, and Morcheeba fit that bill, at least for a couple albums :p
