Taja Sevelle

"Taja Sevelle" released her self-titled album in 1987, which included her hit "Love Is Contagious", after being signed to Prince's Paisley Park Records in 1987. She was first featured on Prince and the Revolution's 1985 album Around the World in a Day, singing backing vocals on the song "The Ladder". The flavour here is unmistakable tho ... She would release two albums after this, but by then she had dropped off my radar...
