SPEED
"SPEED" was a Japanese female vocal/dance group comprising Hiroko Shimabukuro, Eriko Imai, Takako Uehara and Hitoe Arakaki (stated Wiki), with all 4 members are former students of the Okinawa Actors School (which also trained Namie Amuro and MAX, which explains it all, as far as I'm concerned as I adored them too).
Speed made their major label debut on August 5, 1996, and disbanded on March 31, 2000, to pursue solo careers and to study. Following their disbandment, the group reunited several times for charity, but on August 20, 2008, they officially announced plans to reunite permanently.[3] They made their comeback on November 12, 2008, with the single "Ashita no Sora (あしたの空)" (Scroll to the bottom of this post for "Sky of Tomorrow"). Speed disbanded in 2012, after their final album "4 Colors".
They've released 5 studios albums (1997-2012), and had 5 "#1 Singles" in this discography - all MVs sprinkled in this blogpost, cheers. ENJOY THE MUSIC MEMORIES!
