"I See You (바라 봄)" by Lee Sora (OST for "The Atypical Family")
And while I've only heard the opening strains of "I See You (바라 봄)" by veteran singer Lee So-ra (Lee Sora / 이소라) in "The Atypical Family" KDRAMA (currently streaming on Netflix), it wasn't until I heard more of the song, that it brought tears to my eyes, even though I have zero idea of the lyrics and it's meanings, the melody itself and her voice, had such a longing of a past, no doubt a manifestation of my own regrets in life, innit? FKN glorious!
Like rain, calling out love, like spring rain
You, like rain, seeping into the wind like warmth
Unable to express everything, so many words, choked up
Like rain, dividing time, that rain-like
You, like rain, the more I see you, like a longing gaze
Shyly holding hands, leading me by holding hands
You’re there, watching me, in that somewhat unfamiliar distance
Hoping for a slight pull, somehow it feels good
You’re there, watching me, smiling, promising not to change
Gathering my heart as if embraced in my own arms
Gathering prayers
Like rain, dividing time, that rain-like
You, like rain, the more I see you, like a longing gaze
Shyly holding hands, leading me by holding hands
You’re there, watching me, in that somewhat unfamiliar distance
Hoping for a slight pull, somehow it feels good
You’re there, watching me, smiling, promising not to change
Gathering my heart as if embraced in my own arms
Gathering prayers
