"Idlewild" is the 4th studio album by British musical duo Everything but the Girl. Released on 29 February 1988 by Blanco y Negro Records and Sire Records, the sounds are of an era before their dance repertoire, and is etched deep into my sound-psyche even more than their electronic dance masterpieces.



The album was reissued in 2012 as a remastered two-disc deluxe set by Edsel Records. What I have in my hands is the 1988 re-release, I reckon.
