OMG this was a phenomenal MV, with callbacks and nods to a slew of their earlier MVs, from ROSE sitting on the globe (in "Whistle"), LISA on the harbour front bridge (in "Playing with Fire"), and the reprise of her dumptruck (in "Boombayah"), JENNIE sitting atop yet again on her bling'd out tank, and JISOO evoking her celebrity red carpet incident (both from their "DDU-DU DDU-DU" music video)... There is a specific palette of colors and mood prevalent in BLACKPINK's MVs, from group releases, to solos, including LALISA's, pronivind a consistency and identifiable aesthetic recognising that "YES, this is a BLACKPINK Universe", beyond just recognising the girls, IMHO.
