A BROKEN FRAME by Depeche Mode (Full Album Listen)

WHAT-IS: "A Broken Frame is the second studio album by English electronic music band Depeche Mode, released on 27 September 1982 by Mute Records. The album was written entirely by Martin Gore and was recorded as a trio after the departure of Vince Clarke, who had left to form Yazoo with singer Alison Moyet. Alan Wilder was part of a second band tour in the United Kingdom prior to the release of A Broken Frame, but had not officially joined yet and does not appear on the album." (Wiki)

And while I've heard songs from this album prior, the songs that reconnected with me more was from their subsequent album "Construction Time Again", and later "Black Celebration" and I've followed them since. One aspect was the availability of the albums in cassette tape (bootlegged or otherwise), while their earlier albums such as "A Broken Frame" and the first "Speak & Spell" album, weren't readily available, until sometime later when I could back track to their CDs (I did not actively collect LPs, alas), with this album a prime example. I don't think I've ever gotten Speak&Spell tho...
