Tickets for LOONATHEWORLD ON Sale & Chuu Will Not Participate In The World Tour?



As I publish this blogpost, tickets has gone on sale June 3rd for LOONA's 1st World Tour [LOONATHEWORLD] via the links in the tweet embed, seen above is a screengrab for San Francisco's "The Midway" venue since listed as "Sold Out"!



What is disconcerting, is the translated fancafe message (in tweet), where essentially reads that "Chuu will not be participating in the #LOONA world tour"...!

Speculation is rife on Twitter now, as well a very verbal dissent about this news dropping less than a day before ticket sales opened, much less in their fancafe, in Korean, when instead their official socials have released images of the girls, A Happy Birthday Wish, and a new teaser image for their comeback (which includes "Chuu"). No shade at all for the other girls, but...





Born October 20, 1999, stage name "CHUU", birth name Kim Ji-Woo (김지우), was the 10th girl to be revealed for South Korean girl group LOONA, and made her debut in 2017 with her solo single "Heart Attack" (Find Out More HERE), is arguably the busiest member in LOONA now, with mutliple commercials and appearance in variety shows and her dedicated YouTube-Channel "Chuu Can Do It" (for which the latest VLOG seen above, was uploaded earlier today).

A lawsuit between Chuu and BlockBerryCreative was kept relatively low-key since a report in late-March on allkpop.com stated "Chuu filed a lawsuit to suspend her exclusive contract against the label in December of 2021. It's said Chuu received a partial approval by the court, and she could be given a preliminary injunction, which means her contract will be suspended to prevent further harm until the court issues a final ruling."

Neither BBC nor Chuu has addressed this report nor further clarified what it means for the entertainer moving forward. Chuu was not present for their concert in Seoul, save for the last day when she appeared on stage, and subsequently atively participated in QUEENDOM2 as part of LOONA.

Make no mistake, Chuu is a beloved part of LOONA, and I'll let the internet speculate on, while keeping an eye out for any updates on the situation.
