COCOMONG X LOONA
WHAT-IS: ""COCOMONG" (Korean: 코코몽; RR: kokomong) is a Korean 3D animated children's program created by Olive Studio. This cartoon takes place in the imaginary Refrigerator Land, where everyday ingredients transform into half animal and half food friends who love a good adventure. The connection between South Korean girl group 이달의 소녀 (LOONA) started when Cocomong visited BlockBerry Creative, to audition to be apart of LOONA, with Kim Lip being his bias. This led to the "YUM YUM" MV featuring Cocomong with Kim Lip, Choerry, Go Won and YeoJin, to which there comes a SECOND collaboration MV! There is a running joke that Kim Lip was utterly uncomfortable and out of place in the MV too!

And while I'd watched all the COCOMON X LOONA "Yum Yum"-era, I'd thought it was a "one-shoot" situation, so I admittedly "impressed" that there is a follow-up/sequel, and from promo images + teaser, looks like they upped the budget too! And I am intrigued to see how far this could go, as the set-up looks at a perhaps slightly "older aged" demographic, if not the aesthetics looking closer to a themed KPOP-environment, IMHO.
Looking thru Amazon for COCOMONG merch to post, I wondered if there'll be "COCOMONG X LOONA Merch" this time around tho...?
