"Maxinquaye" is the debut album by English rapper and producer Tricky. It was released on 20 February 1995 by 4th & B'way Records. Wikipedia mentioned; "In the years leading up to the album, Tricky had grown frustrated with his limited role in the musical group Massive Attack and wanted to pursue an independent project."

From my POV - based on the price tag on this album - I picked this up at a local (now defunct) weekend flea-market, with memories of the Soong I'd heard in clubs or watched on MTV (or variation thereof of a syndicated music program).

A total of 5 singles were released from the album, along with music videos (except for "Pumpkin") showcased below, and if you scroll thru, the full album's audio is embedded below. Also note that while searching for the audio for this blog-feature, I'd come across multiple songs some with multiple remixed versions (on Trickyofficial), which I'd decided to go for the "original" versions as found on my CD album, to share with you what I listened to, in the first place. ENJOY.
