Wow. The "Japanese" exodus continues, with this "Concept Photo Teaser" just released, in anticipation of BLACKPINK's 「THE ALBUM -JP Ver.-」 since scheduled for a release "2021.08.03"! This will be released via Universal (which has also since announced to be repping LOONA), so they are coming out STRONG!

Remembering the excitement when I first unboxed "THE ALBUM" (*My first ever unboxing video too), to currently being somewhat thankful I am not that deep into BP to desire this EP too (LOONA's is another story, so....), and can only imagine how exciting it is for both performers and fans in Japan to have their own dedicated release, IMHO.



I also remembered very vaguely past releases (of other bands I cannot remember) where there were specific "Singapore only" exclusive songs or what not, and how exciting THAT felt! But of course given my timeline, those were the days were the internet was not prevalent, and whatever info like this would just be taken straight-up, without wondering IF it was indeed "special" or otherwise ~ LOL
