One-Hit Wonders of the 80s: #61-#70

Continuing my one-hit-wonders of the 80s blog-feature, featured here is Tracks #61-#70 (*Based on Entertainment Weekly's 2009-list), and realising there are songs on this list I have heard for the first time too!

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S #61 - E.U. with “Da Butt” from the OST of "School Daze" (1988)... I think I'm hearing this for the first time too...:p

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S #62 - XTC with “Dear God” (1988)... and this is the second song on today's list I am hearing for the first time...!

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S #63 - Oran “Juice” Jones with “The Rain” (1986) ... no worries, this I have heard before ... :)

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S #64 - Robbie Dupree with “Steal Away” - OMG I LOVER THIS SONG! And I didn't know who it was by or title of, until I did this list...! YAY!

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S #65 - “I Don’t Like Mondays” by Boomtown Rats ... which I ended up reading the comments when I had no intention to...

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S #66 - “Angel Eyes” by The Jeff Healy Band might have been the more successful tracks, but they have other goodies, including Lost In Your Eyes (1992), While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and When the Night Comes Falling from the Sky.

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S #67 - “Toy Soldiers” by Martika was one of the more noted tracks of hers in the 80sl, which included Love...Thy Will Be Done and I Feel The Earth Move.

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S #68 - Peter Schilling with “Major Tom” from his 1983 album "Error In The System”... 4, 3, 2, 1...Earth Below Us...!

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S #69 - T'Pau with “Heart And Soul” and their equally memorable China In Your Hand!

ONE HIT WONDERS OF THE 80S #70 - Harold Faltermeyer with “Axel F” () is Huber memorable with being on the OST of "Beverly Hills Cop" starring Eddie Murphey.

And my choices for my #Soundtrackto80sLife are:
"Major Tom" by Peter Schilling
"Heart And Soul" by T’Pau
“Axel F” by Harold Faltermeyer
And while Robbie Dupree's "Steal Away" is dated "1980", it certainly felt like a (late) 70's song, which is all good by me :)
