ANISONGS from SCANDAL (2009-2020)

Japanese rock band SCANDAL has a number of their tracks used for animes' OPENING (OP) and ENDING (ED), and I delved down this list - thanks to compiled data from their Wiki-page - to present this list of ANISONGS from SCANDAL (2009-2020)!

Featured are clips of the OP and Eds from anime (which more likely might get deleted off YT if ever flagged for Copyright issues :p), and as well their actual Music Videos and some live performances.

This discography is much wider, of course, which I'll go into in later features, trust me. Meanwhile ~ ENJOY!

2009: "Shōjo S" for "Bleach" as the (0th Opening Track for the long running anime (featured above). The MV featured below is one of my FAVOURITES from SCANDAL!

2010: "Shunkan Sentimental" was used as the fourth ending theme for the anime "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood", and was Scandal's fifth major single. I was so into "FM:B" that when I heard this track that first time, I nearly swept tears of joy FFS ~ LOL

2010: Scandal provided the theme, insert, and ending songs for the animated film "Loups=Garous", which premiered in Japan. The songs were "Midnight Television", "Koshi-Tantan", and "Sayonara My Friend", respectively. The members of Scandal were also "cartoonized" and apart of the film too, appearing as themselves, marking their big-screen debut as a band, and we had a glimpse of Scandal as anime-characters (YAY).

Featured above is the trailer for the anime film, while below are audio, and performance tracks.

2011: "Pride" (Single from "Baby Action") was used as the second ending theme for the anime "Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto".

2011: Their tenth major single "Haruka" (Single from "Baby Action") was used as the theme song for the animated film "Tofu Kozou" - trailer featured above, with the song coming in from the 1:07 mark.

2011/2012: "Harukaze" was the 15th opening theme of "Bleach". Scandal was the second artist to be in charge of more than one opening theme in Bleach (after Aqua Timez).

2014: Their eighteenth major single, "Yoake no Ryuuseigun", was used as the ending theme to "Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction" and reached #1 on Billboard Japan Hot Animation.

2020: "A.M.D.K.J." (from their album "Kiss from the darkness" released under their own label "her") was announced as the ending theme song for the anime "GeGeGe no Kitarō" (above). Performance MV below:
