"Celebrity" MV & MV Making Film by IU(아이유)

IU(아이유) has dropped her latest single "Celebrity", and I could not help but be both delighted and depressed at the same time ... without the necessary braincells to be able to acutely decipher nor interpret the translated English lyrics, I could only hazard a guess and share my immediate impressions upon my first listen and of witnessing the moving visuals .... and wonder about the faux smiles in most scenes, like she had to put on a smile for people looking at her, needing to maintain the image people have come to expect from her - with all the "identities" of the multiple array of characters portrayed being what people think of who IU is/was, or even what the public think about who their favourite celebrities and idols are/were ... and even the association of her musical genre by dancing ardently in the acknowledged "Kpop-style" - something which IU hardly does (that I remembered) ... but in the end felt more like a self-revelation, self-love message (?), where instead of looking at (and judging) "celebrities", perhaps you'd do better to treat yourself (and others) with the same reverence and care...? ... and of course I could've totally misintepreted the song :p

If you refer to the credits (posted below the audio only video), the song was authored and co-composed by IU herself. Loved the song. Love IU. XOXO
