[B Side 2: LOONA] - Introducing The Staff of STRAWBERRY BRICK ENTERTAINMENT - LOONA on MUPLY


"KPOP IDOL turned into employees in the entertainment company?! This is an entertainment show that describes LOONA’s prep for their COMEBACK!" = Introducing [B Side 2: LOONA] from MUPLY, where the 11 girls have been casted as employees of a (quasi)fictional entertainment company, who are responsible for preparation for the comeback of LOONA!



Imagine how the girls from South Korean girl group LOONA "might" look like, if they were to be folks working in an office, in a 9-to-5 job? Here's a (cyber)tissue for your collective nosebleeds from your O.L.-dreams, courtesy of MUPLY, who is involved in this particular online campaign / promotions, leading to the October 19 launch of their 3rd mini album, titled "[12:00]"!

Beyond the visuals (via @MUPLY_PLAYLIST / featured below - from TikTok videos to individual images of them in office-wear), this 16+minutes video shows the genesis of the video(series), and as well itself is a clever introduction to the team members via this faux mockumentary part-fictional-part-reality-TV telling of their upcoming comeback, with the 11 girls adopting guises of staff of the STRAWBERRY BRICK ENTERTAINMENT (much more than a "nudge" to their main company "BlockBerry Creative") in creating and producing the group "LOONA", for a full-blown inception internet entertainment FTW!



Unafraid to make fun of themselves and their own quirks, and are actively setting the pace of online engagement with their fans - including reading comments (left on their socials) in a video (promoting their online concert on MyMusicTastes :p), as well having been reacting to memes of them in their own vlogs - without the "need" to actually do a one-on-one-personal engagement, which in many cases have negatively impacted other idols too. Give fans a taste of what they want, not give them the full meal. Not to mention engage in "out of the box"-styled promotions - planned or circumstantial, it certainly would leave a memorable note in music history, IMHO. I certainly look forward to more episodes!



The thing is, at this point of the feature, I am unable to ascertain exactly HOW MANY Episodes are we to look forward to, HOW OFTEN new eps will be uploaded etc ... so I have personally subscribed to MUPLY, and more likely will post a "final" compilation of all videos released, in another blog-post.
