Dreamcatcher (드림캐쳐): DIY-MV 'SAHARA' vs 'SCREAM' lux-Kpop MV
The "DIY"-spirit is strong in this "self-made MV" from South Korean girl group "Dreamcatcher (드림캐쳐)" (from Happy Face Entertainment) performing their track "SAHARA" - from their first full album "Dystopia : The Tree of Language"! You can then scroll to the bottom of this post to check out the uber-lux production of their music video for "Scream" (first single off the same album) - with this being a prime example of being a "classic" K-pop glossy production to dazzle the masses :)
The video is credited as being "self-produced", and I love seeing performers going "off script" - but with that said, I really want to see if there were any storyboards made for this production, or a full "making-of" (*there are snippets at the end of this MV), because it was hella fun!
The girls did a similar DIY/self-made MV for their 2019 track "The Curse of the Spider" (from the album "Raid of Dream"), which was shown at a fan meeting (see video below) - for which I'd love to see a proper/official upload of (I could not find it on youtube if they did tho :p).
"Dreamcatcher (Korean: 드림캐쳐; formerly known as MINX) is a South Korean girl group formed by Happy Face Entertainment. The group consists of seven members: Jiu, Sua, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami and Gahyeon. They officially debuted on January 13, 2017, with the single album Nightmare."
