About LOOΠΔ's #1 Win at MCOUNTDOWN on March 12/2020
UPDATED March 15: A new video (above) has been uploaded on official MNET-Kpop youtube channel, where all the girls gave an acceptance speech, where in the edit they gave prior to the award announcement on stage (where it could have just been a pre-recorded segment, likewise the same for the other group nominated, regardless of who was announced to be the winner later). Video includes English translation, and features the girls bowing on stage.
LOONA received their very first show win with being awarded "#1" at the March 12th airing of MCOUNTDOWN on MNET in South Korea. Thru the tirelessly efforts of their fans - known as "Orbits" - canvassed intensely (I just followed them on Twitter and witnessed it myself), and truly helped them achieving the votes needed.
And while I've done a feature blogpost showcasing the show's trophy (Which was using a OUIP from Delitoys) ... THIS blog-post however, is dedicated to LOONA's sequence of events - from the announcement of their win on air, to Yves' acceptance speech, to their encore performance, and the bow they did on the main stage.
A quick background to the events: LOONA first started debuting a girl at a time, starting with HeeJin in 2016 (September 26), and ending with the 12th member Olivia Hye revealed in 2018 (March 17), with subunits in-between. This particular win is their very first "#1" since debut, hence the emotional response from the girls.
The date "March 12th" has since been designated as LOONA's "birthday" (as mentioned by JinSoul).
Most video clips below might mirror certain sequences, but this is as best as I can show of the chronological sequence that transpired.
First video featured directly below features the Broadcasted sequence - including performance, announcement (with score), acceptance speech, and encore (but no bowing) / No English subs:
including Acceptance Speech (begins mark 0:17),
and the entire LOONA taking a full bow (begins mark 3:25):
The below clip shows Yves breaking down in tears, and being comforted by "Ella" from girl group "Elris", whom with Yves trained together during predebut....
"According to fanaccounts, she was a trainee under Hunus Entertainment (ELRIS' agency). She trained with ELRIS' Bella and DIA's Eunchae, and apparently almost debuted with Bella. Yves met Bella in 2014/2015 so she may have joined Hunus Entertainment in 2014/2015." (Info via)
What folks might not have seen on broadcast television (which was ended before this next sequence happened, *but then again I did not have the honour of watch said-broadcast, so...), is when during their encore performance (as the credits rolled, based on online video clips uploaded), all 11 members of LOONA (who were present & [performing) when on their knees and fully bowed on stage, thanking the folks, and whoever was watching them.
I've not followed K-Pop as intensely, and do not know if this is/was the norm, but this truly warmed themselves to me, and I appreciate their humbleness and sincerity shown (be it by design, or from the heart).
they really got on their knees and bowed, the humbleness i can’t 😭#LOONA #LOONA1stWin #이달의소녀 pic.twitter.com/ccJ92q0zdi

Images of the girls were subsequently posted individually on their collective Instagram @loonatheworld (reposted below), along with their own impressions. Even HaSeul (who has been absent in this entire "So What" era as she had been taking an official break from activities, due to her anxiety disorder) posted a update with her congratulatory message.
The girls left and went back to their office. and recorded and broadcasted on their VLIVE account, with YeoJin having her own video (no doubt prior to her "curfew"), while other 10 girls took turns to thank their fans "Orbits" and shared their feelings - which until now there isn't a English translated video of yet.
This is how wired @loonatheworld is to Twitter:

10:53pm (kst) joke appears on twt) "Solo singer Kim Lip"
(45 mins later) 11:38pm
During the relay VLIVE
Yves: "you were singing! Not consoling me when I was crying!!"
Chuu/Yves: "Solo singer Kim Lip!!"
(happened 4min before pic) pic.twitter.com/zkoxRoOzpo
What I really want to read about, was when apparently Kim Lip made fun of Yves for crying onstage, but she retorted that instead of comforting her teammate, she went ahead and sung solo (actually alongside Chuu :p), and called Kim Lip a solo singer!
Personally I loved seeing Chuu singing alongside Kim Lip during the encore, as they had been the longest of friends, before debut, and were sharing their dreams of performing onstage, I think.
The girls from LOONA gave a online interview after the win, first posted on edaily.co.kr (In Korean), then translated on reddit.com, and subsequently posted on soompi.com.
