Main Trailer for BLACKPINK - 5th ANNIVERSARY [4+1] THE MOVIE & Screening Situation in Singapore!

Blackpink The Movie

The Main Trailer has dropped for South Korean girl group BLACKPINK's "THE MOVIE" (5th.blackpinkofficial.com"), where on "August 4th and 8th BLINKs worldwide will come together in cinemas to celebrate 5 years of BLACKPINK".

The trailer above showcases both behind-the-scenes rehearsals and preparations for their concert "The Show", along with interviews with the four girls themselves. I'd imagine their "Blackpink: Light Up The Sky" docu on Netflix featured "how they got here", while the film showcases "where they are now, and will be going"...? I wouldn't be surprised if there are unseen collaborations and announcements will happen in this film...! But if course this is all speculatory on my end, and you are to scroll down this post to read the official SYNOPSIS for the 100-minute long film, directed by OH Yoon-dong and JUNG Su-yee!

Find out how if your country will be screening the feature on www.blackpinkthemovie.com. For SINGAPORE, the film'll be showing on select GV/Golden Village, Shaw and Cathay cinemas! On select days and select timings tho ... and not everywhere will be giving out freebies! Here is what I found so far...

Folks watching the film (specifically) at GOLDEN VILLAGE Gemini and/or GV Funan will receive a limited edition commemorative A3 poster with every purchase of "Blackpink The Movie" ticket. Poster will be ready for collection at the box office on the screening date." (Source). Price listed is SG$22. Here is an example of GV Funan's showtimes+dates, and it is one of the more 'generous' schedules...!

WED AUG 4: 4:30pm / 7pm / 7:30pm
THURS AUG 5: 7pm
FRI AUG 6: 7pm
SAT AUG 7: 4:30pm / 7pm / 7:30pm
SUN AUG 8: 4:30pm / 7pm / 7:30pm

You can score a "limited edition commemorative postcard" at CATHAY, and will only be available for collection at the box office of the respective outlet on your selected date of screening (Source). Advance ticket booking has started, each priced at SG$22.

No Freebies listed thus far for SHAW cinemas (at time of this blogpost publishing) tho... I'll attempt top check in again at a slightly later date, maybe... :p
