Vol.47 - 4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG
"4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG" is a ongoing serial feature (started in 2025) where I showcased/share 4+ tracks / MVs from 4 Random Albums I have in my eclectic collection ... some might get their own Full Album Listens, most might not ... just ride the memories, cheers.
HUGE Janet Jackson-fan here, with this 1995 compilation CD album "Janet.Remixed" featuring remix versions of her hits from that era, including "That's The Way Love Goes" and "If". Apparently this pressing was distributed in Singapore (info via google image search :p)... Feels like I need to do a full album listen somewhen tho...
1993 studio album "Gorgeous" by the English electronic group 808 State. Notable tracks include "Plan 9" and "Moses" = honestly names I do not recognize, but the tunes heard immediately puts me back in the day I fell for their soundscapes...!

Look, I like Moby. I liked his discography, which were trendy at the time, and has become somewhat "evergreens" (as it were), and this album was his sixth studio release, with notable tracks from "18" include "We Are All Made of Stars" and "Extreme Ways" - which'll be remembered for being Jason Bourne's theme...!

STORYTIME: I was rewatching "Mod Squad" on the telly just yesterday, and remembered owning the OST CD album more than I did the movie itself (I even forgot how attractive Claire Dane was OMG), and realised I owned a whole lott more OST CD albums than I care to admit, primarily because they essentially serve as "mixtape / compilation / Best-Of" (themed) albums, and I adore compilations like that. All this while I had thought this 1988 contemporary jazz album "Music of Espionage" was a OST for film I had forgotten, but was in actual fact from the group Spies (perhaps I was thinking about the "Sneakers" OST?).... And now I am intrigued to listen to MORE, besides the ones showcased here today... so "80s"-sounding! hhhmmm
