Vol.40 - 4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG
"4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG" is a ongoing serial feature (started in 2025) where I showcased/share 4+ tracks / MVs from 4 Random Albums I have in my eclectic collection ... some might get their own Full Album Listens, most might not, cheers.
"Ring of Saturn" by Goldie was released 1998. Essentially drum and bass (D&B) which soothed my sonic soundscape needs, as well excited it. Seen above is "Mother", while heard below is "What You Won't Do for Love" (feat. Diane Charlemagne).

Mixed by Midfield General, the 1999/2000-released "On the Floor at the Boutique" - featured multiple tracks which were "new" to my tender ears - including "90% of Me Is You" by Gwen McCrae (above), while "Cold Getting Dumb" by Just-Ice (below) - appealed to my desire for non-stop DJ-mixed music, in an era where I needed the background to my work be frenzied and "active" (if that makes any sense)... ironically I don't rave or dance, never had the time to do so as I was a workaholic ~ LOL

The 2000 album "Killing Puritans" by American DJ and producer Armand Van Helden is in line or my need (back then for a period of time) for non-stop music to fuel my headspace for work. Thinking back now, I was dwelling in "Top Forties" POP for my day job, and this would have been a fab counterfoil to that daily soundscape LOL
Above is audio for "Koochy", while below is the MV for "Full Moon" (feat. Common). How I got to this music album, no doubt is via listening booths at the CD shop. This is my sole "Armand Van Helden" album too ~ LOL

This 2-CD mix album "F.A.C.T." is by house and techno DJ Carl Cox, released in 2000. I was wholly unfamiliar with the DJ but no doubt the listening booth made me a convert, and this is CD #1 for you're listening considerations, cheers!
