Vol.23 - 4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG
"4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG" is a new ongoing serial feature where I showcased/share 4 tracks / MVs from 4 Random Albums I have in my eclectic collection ... some might get their own Full Album Listens, most might not, cheers.
"Everything" by Singaporean musician Dick Lee is essentially a compilation album, with the title track performed as part of a medley of his work, audio below.
"Double Chance" by the Japanese singer bird), is her 4th studio album, released in 2003. I have a full album listen HERE, and this is "ふくらみ / Fukurami".
Released in 2000, "Uzu" from Japanese R&B group Sugar Soul features vocalist Aiko Machida. Funnily enough, I was enamoured by their sound, but never truly openly seemed their albums, or rather they were not as known to folks enough to make a dent in consciousness, methinks. This is the audio version for "Siva 1999 (Analog Ver.)", and perfectly showcases what I love about them :)

"The Mirror Conspiracy" by the electronic music duo Thievery Corporation should be my first album (Released in 2000, this was their 2nd studio album) and I honestly do not remember how I came across their sound, which involved multicultural & geographical audio references ... which gelled with my desire for "downtempo grooves" for a period in my life. More likely from compilation albums featuring similar soundscape, and I contemned collecting for a minute too. This is "Lebanese Blonde".
