Vol.10 - 4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG

"4 X 4 on #TUNESTALKSG" is a new ongoing serial feature where I showcased/share 4 tracks / MVs from 4 Random Albums I have in my eclectic collection ... some might get their own Full Album Listens, most might not, cheers.

Bell Biv DeVoe's "WBBD-Bootcity!: The Remix Album" was released 1991, via MCA Records. The album features remixes of songs from their debut album, "Poison". This is "Word To The Mutha!".

Released in 1990, "Violator" was Depeche Mode's 7th studio album, and the memorable tracks include "Enjoy the Silence", "Policy of Truth", and "World in My Eyes" ... I was fortunate enough to catch DM live in concert during this time, and still have vivid memories of Dave Gahan performing "Personal Jesus" on stage...!

"All for You: A Dedication to the Nat King Cole Trio" by jazz artist Diana Krall is essentially a "tribute album" released circa 1996. This was a perdsio in my life where I delved deeper into (light) "jazz", thanks to a work colleague who introduced me to live jazz at a local establishment, and this soundscape helped fulfilled a part of me that I didn't know I needed then, and I remain thankful. This is the audio for "Gee Baby, Ain't I Good to You", cheers.

"Vavoom!" by The Brian Setzer Orchestra is a swing and jump blues album featuring a mix of original songs and covers of classics. I was big into Americano big-band x swing, so this fit the bill for me then, methinks! This is "Gettin' In the Mood," cheers.

This album was quite the ear-opener for me back in the day, and honestly (though I've never admitted it professionally), the soundscape was a "guide" for me for a number of programs I was involved in conceptualising, with the final track ultimately utilised sounded nothing like this LOL
