G-DRAGON & BIG BANG for MAMA 2024





Featured above is a 14+minuter video of G-DRAGON's performance at MAMA 2024 (Singing "무제(Untitled, 2014)" + "POWER" + "HOME SWEET HOME"), followed by a Big Bang return to the stage, performing "BANG BANG BANG" + "FANTASTIC BABY"...!

The video showcased below, is just purely of Big Bang (G-Dragon, Taeyang & Daesung), which honestly left me emotional, even after a second watch (first was on the telly).



For as long as I remembered, I dabbled into JPOP back in the 80s, while fully immersed in 80s British New Wave and Americana... then introduced myself to S.E.S. and BoA in the early 2000s (when listening posts in physical music shops still existed in SG) ... then lapsed a bit, until I was pulled back in with discovering BigBang and BlackPink (post-2010), while I was researching for music videos and its art direction (for my "Art Direction" classes), and very quickly devouring and catching up with BigBang's discography, and as such both remain a important milestone on my KPOP-loving journey, until today ... so seeing BigBang on stage together again, left an overwhelming flood of "joy and discovery" as I had so many years ago, colored now with a huge whip of longing nostalgia, and a boost to my Soundtrack To Life...
