BIGBANG Celebrate SG50 New Years Concert 2014-2015

I will never forget that year when BIGBANG performed in a New Years Concert in Singapore, celebrating "SG50" (marking Singapore's Jubilee year of independence), in 2015...! I had only just been clued back into KPOP, then seeing the (then) 5-member legends appearing on Singapore television, and then performing for nearly 50 minutes? Singing LIVE? FKN LEGEND.

BIGBANG was in Singapore that same year (earlier in July) as part of their "2015 World Tour [MADE] in Singapore".



After their last released single "Flower Road" in 2018, member Seungri announced his retirement from the entertainment industry in 2019, due to scandals surrounding the Burning Sun nightclub ... The remaining members returned in 2022 (after their military services) and released '봄여름가을겨울 (Still Life) ... member T.O.P left the band in June 2023. BigBang had not been heard together since, til now, for their MAMA 2024 stage.



The longevity of a performer(s) goes much more beyond having a good singing voice or dancing abilities, with gimmicks only but a memory to engage the fan, or simply fade in age... But the music memories remain effective a connection to our hearts, IMHO.
