Linkin Park Revived

I had wanted to snap a picture of my Linkin Park Nenodroids in tandem with my blog-feature about the return of LP with a new singer and MV, when I realized the "Chester Bennington" figure was missing from my box... and that I had zero idea where I left it at? Now I am low-key devastated that the figure is missing, although it felt utterly apt...

Linkin Park returns with a new line-up (featuring a new singer and a departed drummer), along with a new music video and announcement of their FROM ZERO World Tour! First the MV, for the song titled "The Emptiness Machine" (preorder here).

Seven years after the passing of their lead singer, Chester Bennington, Linkin Park returns with a new singer with Emily Armstrong, and loosing LP drummer Rob Bourdon, since replaced.

"Accusations" afloat thru the internets within the LP-=sphere (which I'll not go into), but in the end, my question would be: Would you rather head back to your CD albums from the past LP-releases? Or welcome a new singer, who'll be covering for Chester, even as they he'd released a brand new single to showcase their return? SureAF their past MVs remain etched in my music memories! And Chester's voice cannot be forgotten, and neither should it be.

One of the "harshest" comments I've read online (I know I should have knowingly kept way from), was the LP is "now a cover band", singing Chester's lines. Be that as it may, there's past albums to listen to, and either legions of new fans are amassed, or the masses turn inward to past versions instead.

Here are some performances from their live-streamed comeback, cheers.
