"Cherry Gene" by ACID EYES (#tripleS Sub-Units Combined)
Imagine my confusion, as I backtracked the discography of tripleS to find "Cherry Gene", thinking it was a fan-remix, when instead it was a legit company release!
On June 1, 2023, it was announced that Acid Angel from Asia and +(Kr)ystal Eyes would release an album titled "Cherry Gene" together as a combined sub-unit called "Acid Eyes".
The sub-unit was comprised of 8 members: Kim YooYeon, Kim NaKyoung, Gong YuBin and Jeong HyeRin (All AAA), with Yoon SeoYeon, Kim ChaeYeon, Lee JiWoo and Kim SooMin (of KRE).
The lead single and its accompanying visualizer would release on June 6, with the digital album released on July 6th.
This track was released after "Cherry Talk" by +(KR)ystal Eyes, and before Touch+, also by +(KR)ystal Eyes.
