LOONA "FLIP THAT" MV Making Film
With in-person promotions since ended for LOONA's FLIP THAT, I'd certainly expect to see more online / digital content being released, as the girls themselves take a break (before starting up prepping for their US Tour)... and the first video uploaded on their YouTube channel is the MAKING FILM for FLIP THAT MV! Looking forward to Dance Practice and other assorted videos (I do miss LOONA TV tho)...!
Also included are tweets of behindthescenes footage ... but first, let's check out the MUSIV VIDEO again!
Throughout the entire "MV Making Film", the members are revealed to be in new dedicated "Units", and as well the scenes and situations were explained, all of which deviates from al their past LOONAVERSE-lore, which I am fine with, and at the same time am wholly uncertain of that is their intention in the first place - to leave behind / abandon the lore - but I'll not over analysis or doubt, and just move forward with LOONA in their future, and as Olivia Hye's tattoo reads "(A) JOURNEY WITHOUT A DESTINATION". Not bound nor shackled by the past, but opened to possibilities beyond the horizon (sounds like a "sci-fi" show, I know :p).
No doubt I might well be missing out on symbolic clues or conenctions (sadly my addled brain no longer functions at peak capoacity, buy)... and unlike previous LOONA MV - where I'd focus on picking out "connections" to the lore - this time, I gave up minutes into the MV, and just enjoyed this track and MV for what it was, and I have to admit, it felt quite liberating. And perhaps unlike other hardcore fans and Orbits, I did not necessarily feel "stupid" for not being able to grasp at the lore.
