The SynthPop/DreamPop of BOTTLESMOKER

I am reminded of the "dream pop" / synth pop soundscapes of Indonesian band BOTTLESMOKER (kick-started by my constant listening of Odd Eye Cirle's "Loonatic"), echoing from my audio experience with their "Slow Mo Smile" 2008 album (Thanks to @marine_ramdhani for the opportunity), and thought to catch up with what they are doing now ... and since discovering they have a new album - "Pieces That Fit" - planned for a release in 2020!

The official audio (video featured above) is the first single from the album, "Partikle" - written by Stars And Rabbit X Bottlesmoker (Music by Stars And Rabbit & Bottlesmoker / Song & Lyric by Elda Suryani), featuring cover artwork by Isa Indra Permana.

Connect with them via their www+socials: www.bottlesmoker.com / Twitter / Facebook / Instagram / YouTube channel

Scroll thru for select embeds from their past discography, and is by no means "complete"! Featured vids include full album streams of "Hypnagogic" (2014), and "Slow Mo Smile".

"Slow Mo Smile" is Bottlesmoker's second album, released by Probablyworse Records and Neovinyl Records in 2008, and is the only tangible album I own of this band.

WHO-ARE: "Bottlesmoker is a dance/electronic duo from Bandung, Indonesia. The creator behind this audiovisual project are Anggung Suherman (Angkuy) and Ryan Adzani (Nobie), two producers, film score composers, lecturers and sound designers. Our work focuses in exploring native rhythms from Indonesia and Southeast Asia, recreating them in an electronic form, mixing the old with the new, analog and digital, to create their own unique sound, light and visuals. Our musical explorations go from Tribal to Techno, from Pacific Vibes to psychedelic, from Downtempo to Ambient, the sound and visual palette keeps growing and adding more and more flavours to the mix."
